Thank you to the wonderful city of Franklin, Louisiana, and especially the Teche Theatre for the Performing Arts, Tiger Verdin, Mayor Foulcard, St. Mary Chapter of the Louisiana Landmarks Society, Arlington Mansion, and the many teachers and children I met along the way! It was a fabulous experience sharing George Rodrigue during these special events as part of the Life & Legacy Foundation and Art Tour, and we hope to see you again!
My fourth event of the day featured a range of memories that surprised even me …. Chicago, Neiman Marcus, VP Spiro Agnew, the National Guard, Birmingham, the Cajuns, the Bayou Teche, and above all, George Rodrigue. Thank you to Tiger Verdin, Mayor Eugene P. Foulcard, the St. Mary Chapter of the Louisiana Landmarks Society, Arlington House, and especially the children of Franklin! Looking forward to visiting with more of you today and hopefully seeing you again soon. With love and gratitude to my husband, Douglas Magnus, for this film and his constant support on these ambitious tours.
