What a week! Five incredible days of Rodrigue-inspired art and storytelling experiences including twenty one presentations in ELEVEN fantastic schools, one family night, and THOUSANDS OF AMAZING STUDENTS!
The week was full of wonderful surprises, including reuniting with students from our visit to Spanish Fort High two years ago, and a magical visit to Rockwell Elementary.
George’s longtime friend, Aaron Beam, joined us as a special guest. It was Mr. Beam who originally sparked this tour, now three years ago, through his introductions and enthusiasm. Mrs. Amy Plunkett of Baldwin County Public Schools worked with Heather Parker of the Life & Legacy Foundation to make arrangements with the schools.
The tour was generously sponsored by the Alabama State Council on the Arts, with additional support from the Grand Hotel at Point Clear.
