People often ask me about the ages I work with in sharing George Rodrigue on the Life & Legacy Art Tour. After some 35 years of presenting these paintings in classrooms and lectures, I’ve found that George’s art and story resonate for all ages. Admittedly, however, I was surprised, amused, and delighted to see 3 and 4 year olds hang in there for 90 minutes! Here’s a sliver of a painting discussion revolved around the color BLUE this week, beautifully captured by Douglas Magnus.
